On Superheroes and Costumes

I was into superheroes at an early age. I even had a birthday that was superhero-themed. Soon after, I got a Batgirl costume, complete with cape and mask. At that age, I was convinced that it was the cape that makes a superhero fly.

On "Converting Kirk Cameron"

I've always liked Kirk Cameron. I've always liked watching Growing Pains. I had always wondered what happened to the guy; why at the peak of his fame he just suddenly disappeared from the public eye.

This article from Yahoo cleared the matter up for me. As I read through the article I found new respect for Kirk as a person, not as the celebrity he once was. He's got integrity and the commitment to stand for what he believes in. I know others have that, too. I just happen to believe that he's on the right path–having discovered what's truly important in this life and having found the purpose for his existence. Some unfortunately are still lost or have their priorities mixed up.

Words Minus Images

It may take a while for me to post blogs with original pics taken by M.E. My digital camera broke down on board the plane on our way back home from Boracay. (I think I took too many pictures of myself pretending to sleep!) I hope I can still get it repaired. If not, then I have no choice but to save up for a new one. I think I'll go with Olympus again. I like the quality of its shots.
