my rants and raves;
my public and private TFEs . . .
Anything and everything
(significant or insignificant) that breeze through my mind . . .

The Only Constant Thing: C-H-A-N-G-E
Friday, November 9, 2007Last night was supposed to be time spent as a " mob" at ABS-CBN for the game show 1 vs. 100. That was what our class was supposed to do last night.
Well, that plan went kaput around noon yesterday after we received a text from Leila, our classmate who works as an accountant for ABS-CBN. She told us the dry-run had been moved to next week instead, for reasons still unknown to us.
And to think I was excited and eager for this new experience . . . . Oh, well. So were my classmates. Haha. I guess we'll have to save our enthusiasm until next week.
My classmate and friend, Cecile, bugged me to watch a movie with her instead. Her treat. All perhaps due to her disappointment at our failed "mob" gig since she had to bump off so many people at work (Casino Filipino) just so she could join the class at ABS-CBN.
Haha.
So, we met at Gateway at around 6:30 P.M. The movie started at 7:00 P.M. but we went in early for the trailers. It ended about a few minutes after 8:30 P.M. (I think I'll write a separate post about the movie itself since I liked it a lot.)
Actually, that was our second movie together at Gateway since we also watched another one last week–again at her insistence, and again, her treat. Hehe.
We do plan to watch One More Chance together next week. Maybe with Neva this time since she'll be back from Oz by Sunday.
(Didn't I say I'm a fan?!)
And, that's what happened to my Thursday night. I do hope our 1 vs. 100 thing pushes through next week. I'd like to experience becoming part of "the mob."
