The Beginning of the End
Monday, November 10, 2008Yipee!!!
As of today, I finally got my new website and blogs started. It’s still under major construction, with the hyperlinks not even working yet. So please, bear with M.E. This is slow work for me. I’m learning as I move along.
Thus far, I’ve got my first blog up (Things that make M.E. go hmmm . . . ). And I’m trying to move all the stuff from here to that new one. 32 blog pages of posts. That’s quite a lot. Though I did spend lots of idle no-posting time, too.
If you’re like M.E., you’re probably curious by now. Well, here’s the website address of my new (I know! Finally! I blogged about this twice already and both were failed attempts at the time.) website:
And, here’s the website address of my first, personal, and main blog (Things that make M.E. go hmmm . . . ):

Hopefully, I’ll see you at my new site, too!
This is probably my very last blog post on i.ph. I’ve enjoyed my stay while it lasted. But now, I’m on to a whole new blogging experience! Curious M.E. would like to do more experiments–on my own (Meaning I use my own domain name and manage my own hosting and site. Wahaha. Goodluck to me with that!.
See you all again soon! (Don’t forget–at the new site! RSS M.E. or something. I at least have that much set up already.)
Selling My Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW

This is a great bag. But great as it is, it doesn’t really suit a lefty like me. It’s a better fit for right-handed folks. I take very good care of my things–this even more. I practically treat it like a baby and keep it on my lap when I’m traveling. Except, of course, if I’m the one driving. I don’t place it just anywhere. Yes, yes. I know, I know. I’m a bit of an OC (obsessive compulsive). I suppose so.
If you’re interested, do check out the bag photos by clicking THIS.
Here’s the promotional video made by Lowepro, too, just so you could see what the bag’s all about. Click THIS to view the video.
My Achilles’ Heel
Ironic as it may seem (ironic since here I am blogging), writing appears to be my great Achilles’ heel. I seriously mean that. And it’s not because I don’t exactly know how to write. I mean, I have no problem speaking my mind and communicating my thoughts even on paper. Perhaps writing one’s thoughts and actually disciplining one’s self into writing more formal and perhaps even more useful things is another thing altogether. Or, maybe I just drown myself out in my fears–which I call my “write-o-phobia.”
I can imagine that may sound silly to most, specially to those who write with the ease of breathing, that I find it easier to swim one mile out in the open sea (at least two years ago I did) than to write one simple article. Laugh all you want, but it’s the sad, sad, sad, sad truth!
Though I think, at this point in time, the fighter in M.E. is determined to step up, face my fears, and conquer this decades-old weakness. Comments (usually sent to me privately) from strangers who have been reading my blogs have seemed to help. I was surprised to find that people do actually read my blogs. More so, that they more than simply enjoyed them–they even learned or were inspired by them.So now, here I am–determined to face this seemingly monstrous fear of mine. It may take me another decade to completely overcome it, but I know I ought to start now. (One reason I started blogging in the first place.) It may be slow-growing for me, as I am quite a lazy student, and my interest may lean a little more on photography, but I am determined to get rid of my Achilles’ heel. And I am determined to let God use me for His glory through my writing, too.
Please keep M.E. in your prayers particularly regarding this matter and the above-stated objectives. Overcoming one’s fear is not that easy.
Obama Wins!
Wow. Barack Obama has just made a name for himself in U.S. history books. Good job!
And now, a bigger job lies ahead for him to accomplish. Let us all hope and pray he is indeed the miracle-worker the U.S. voting public perceive him to be.
God be with you, Mr. U.S. President! And may all your decisions and actions be made by and through His grace. Please do remember that the decisions you make do not only impact your constituents–all the world will feel the shocks and aftershocks they may create.
