Take the Time to Give Them a Harder Time!

My sister’s cellphone was stolen as she was riding the LRT-2 the other day. She immediately called up her cellphone network provider to have them block her postpaid SIM.

Ingenious, but Not Uncommon

Saturday, January 24, 2009

So my ingenious idea of making smokers wear a bubble-like helmet to keep all the smoke to themselves is not so original after all. That’s fine with me. As long as someone actually invents a helmet that could be used to campaign against smoking without a conscience or care for other people who will be victimized by such carelessness.

The Perfect Solution to Smoking!

I reposted on YouTube the video of Bianca King’s and Champ Lui-Pio’s (from Hale) anti-smoking campaign in support of the passage of the Graphic Health Warning Bill in the Philippines.

Someone has just left a comment there 10 hours ago.

I read the comment and felt compelled to reply.

Here’s the link to the video with the comment and my replies:

My special New Year’s Day message for YOU!

Thursday, January 1, 2009

“The lives recorded in the Bible are authentic histories of actual individuals. . . . Men whom God favored, and to whom He entrusted great responsibilities, were sometimes overcome by temptation and committed sins, even as we of the present day strive, waver, and frequently fall into error. But it is encouraging to desponding hearts to know that through God’s grace they could gain fresh vigor to again rise above their evil natures; and, remembering this, we are ready to renew the conflict ourselves.” (EG White, 4T 9-11)

May this thought start you off on the right foot this brand new year and may it keep your faith burning strong all 365 days of 2009! Ü. God bless. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
