Urgent Prayer Request
October 30, 2008Please pray for one of our Adventist World Radio team members. He was arrested and is in danger of loosing his life because of sharing his love for Christ. He is in great need of your prayers. We cannot give you more details due to the nature of the situation. Please circulate it to your email list if you would be so kind and ask them to pray as well.

Prayer Request for Heidi Apostol
I’m still in shock. I received a text message early this evening from an unidentified cellphone number. I found out later that the number belongs to Heidi’s aunt. The message said HEIDI APOSTOL is in Intensive Care Unit at the Mother Theresa Hospital in San Fernando, Pampanga for having suffered a CVA (stroke)–aneurism. She was found unconscious in her room yesterday morning.
At the moment, Heidi is being kept alive and breathing through a hole in her neck where air is filtered in.
Please pray for Heidi–she needs nothing less than a miracle to recover. Please pray for Heidi’s father–she has not gone abroad to care for him (he’s sick, too). Please pray for Heidi’s mother, too–it was just a month or so ago that Heidi texted me that her mom was in ICU too–I think it was for a mild stroke.
If by any chance you could and would help the family out financially, too, that would be great. In case you would do so, please let me know so I could give you the cellphone number of her aunt. Or, you could also course your financial support to the Central Luzon Conference (CLC), Heidi’s employer.
